Disability Awareness Badge

This week Cubs will be working on their Disability Awareness Badge.
Can you navigate around the gym without using your eyes?
How about play a game in a wheelchair?
Can you carry a conversation without opening your mouth?

Cubs are encouraged to learn how to Sign their name in American Sign Language (ASL).  Here is a link an alphabet chart.  In ASL you sign with your dominate hand, so Lefties with their left and Righties with their right - both are correct.  If you have any question, feel free to contact Akela

Cubs are also reminded to work on their Family Helper Badge, and tell Akela when they have completed it.
