Special Guest this week (Nov 6)

There are many Brave Canadians that work to protect us and others around the world.  This week one of these brave guys will be visiting us and talking about some of the things he does so we can enjoy our freedoms and help other people.

Halloween Party (Oct 30)

The Cubs are encouraged to dress up in their favourite costume and try and scare Akela this week.

This week will be the annual Halloween Party with games and likely something haunted!

Surprise Fun Meeting (Oct 23)

Hello Cubs,

Raksha and the Venturers have a secret surprise activity planned for this week.
Its so secret that even Akela does not know what it is.

What he does know is that Cub will be doing some painting and so should bring a shirt they can get paint on.

Bottle Drive (Oct 19)

The first of our two Bottle And Food Drives will be on October 19. These are the only fundraisers we do for our programs.

Please meet at the Parkallen Community League, behind the school, at 9am. 

Snacks and drinks will be available at the Community League. 

Nature Walk (Oct 16)

Tonight the cubs will be going on a nature walk around Parkallen and will be looking at the wonderful trees and shrubbery.

Cubs should be dressed to be outside for the meeting.

Culture in the Cub Pack

This week the Pack will be working on a few Purple Star requirements.

Do you know where your parents came from?
How about your Grandparents?

What are some of the things we are allowed to do in Canada?
What are the rights Canadians have?

Also this week 22nd St John's will be visiting our Pack.
Lets make sure we show them how awesome we are!
