Meeting March 24th

HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!!!!!

We are back at the Parkallen School this week at our regular time at 6:30 PM. The weather is warm and Spring Break is around the corner. The Cubs do not have an official planned meeting but all Cubs are welcome to come out and have some fun before we take next week off.

Looking For Green

The Cubs and Scouts will meet this Wednesday at West Edmonton Mall, meeting at 6:45pm at the Starbucks/Chapters (main floor, near the big boat, downstairs from the movie theater.) Uniform shirt and neckers, please.

We will be doing a Green Scavenger Hunt, taking pictures of green things from a list. The team with the most and unique items from the list will be the winners! If you'd like to invite a friend, please do!

We'll be done at around 8pm, ending at the same place.

U of A Scavenger Hunt

Since the weather is soooooo warm and nice our Cubs will be visiting the University of Alberta for a scavenger hunt. We will be meeting at 6:30 PM in front of the Administrative Building (Building 67).

Sleigh Ride With 70th Gold Bar & January 27th Meeting

The 70th Goldbar Group has invited us to their January 26th, Family sleigh/wagon ride at Fort Edmonton. Please meet at Fort Edmonton Park at the Pound Picnic site at approximately 6:30. Parking is available right beside the Fort, parking lot beside the 1846 Clerks Quarters. We will have 2 wagons running from 7 till 8 and a fire from 7 till 9. Please bring a dozen cookies or other baking and a travel mug. They will provide hot chocolate and coffee. This is a family event; everyone is welcome. Don't forget to dress for the weather.

We will be having our regular meeting on January 27th at the Parkallen School at 6:30 PM.

Going Tobogganing

Since the weather is getting warmer we will be meeting at the Millwoods Park (2730 - 66 Street) at 6:30 PM on January 20th, for some tobogganing fun. Please dress for the weather and bring a helmet. See all you there.

January 6 Meeting

I hope everyone has had a restful holiday season and is ready to have more fun. Will will be having our first meeting of 2010 on January 6th, 6:30 PM at the Parkallen School.

January is our Bring a Friend Month. This is an event were a Beaver can bring a Cub to the meeting and earn a badge.
